Modeler 3D Privacy Policy

m4coding built Modeler 3D (package com.modeler.app) as a free 3D modeling app. This page explains what information the app handles and where it goes. In short: the app has no accounts, no ads and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, and your models stay on your device unless you choose to export, share or back them up.

Your models and files

Projects, thumbnails and version history are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Files you import (models, images, textures) are opened through the system file picker only when you choose them, and are copied into your project. Files you export or share go only where you send them. Uninstalling the app deletes its stored projects.

Usage statistics

To help improve the app, it can record which features are used (for example "exported a model" or the result of the device performance test), together with a random identifier generated on your device. These records are written to a file on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → "Share anonymous usage data to improve the app". If a future version starts sending this data, this policy will be updated first and the same switch will control it.

Internet access

The app uses the internet only for the following:

• Feature settings and model library: the app may download a small configuration file and, if enabled, a catalogue of sample models and the models you choose to download. These are plain downloads; no personal data is sent. As with any web request, the server can see your IP address.
• Cloud backup (WebDAV), optional: if you enter a WebDAV server in Settings, the app uploads your projects (model file, thumbnail and a small metadata file with the project name, last-modified time and a device identifier used to tell your devices apart) to that server only, and downloads projects from it. The server address, user name and app password are stored on your device. We never receive these credentials or your files; the WebDAV provider you choose handles them under its own privacy policy.
• Feedback: "Email us" opens your email app with our address filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself; we use the email and anything you attach only to reply and to fix problems.

Permissions

On Android the app requests only INTERNET (for the uses above) and VIBRATE (haptic feedback). It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or the whole of your storage.

Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties, and the app contains no advertising.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Modeler 3D（包名 com.modeler.app）是 m4coding 开发的免费 3D 建模应用。本页说明应用会处理哪些信息、这些信息去了哪里。简单来说：应用没有账号、没有广告，也没有接入任何第三方统计或崩溃上报服务；除非你主动导出、分享或备份，你的模型只保存在你的设备上。

你的模型和文件

项目、缩略图和历史版本保存在应用在你设备上的私有存储中。导入的文件（模型、图片、贴图）只有在你通过系统文件选择器选中时才会被打开，并复制到项目里。导出或分享的文件只会去往你选择的位置。卸载应用会删除其保存的项目。

使用统计

为了改进应用，应用可以记录功能的使用情况（例如「导出了模型」或设备性能测试的结果），并附带一个在你设备上随机生成的标识。这些记录只写入你设备上的一个文件，不会发送给我们或任何其他人。你可以随时在「设置 → 分享匿名使用数据，帮助改进应用」中关闭。如果以后的版本开始发送这些数据，我们会先更新本政策，并且仍由这个开关控制。

联网用途

应用只在以下情况使用网络：

• 功能配置和模型库：应用可能下载一个小的配置文件；如果开启了模型库，还会下载示例模型目录以及你选择下载的模型。这些都是普通下载，不会发送个人信息。和任何网络请求一样，服务器能看到你的 IP 地址。
• 云备份（WebDAV，可选）：如果你在设置中填写了 WebDAV 服务器，应用会把项目（模型文件、缩略图，以及一个包含项目名称、最后修改时间和用于区分你各台设备的设备标识的小文件）上传到这台服务器，并从它下载项目。服务器地址、用户名和应用密码保存在你的设备上。我们不会收到这些账号信息或你的文件，它们由你选择的 WebDAV 服务商按其隐私政策处理。
• 反馈：「发邮件给我们」会打开你的邮件应用并填好我们的地址。只有你自己发送邮件时才会发出内容；我们只把邮件和附件用于回复你和修复问题。

权限

在 Android 上，应用只申请 INTERNET（用于上述联网用途）和 VIBRATE（触感反馈）两项权限，不会申请位置、通讯录、相机、麦克风或整个存储空间的访问权限。

信息共享

我们不会出售、出租或向第三方提供个人信息，应用中没有广告。

儿童隐私

应用不会收集任何人的个人信息，包括 13 岁以下的儿童。如果你认为有儿童通过邮件向我们发送了个人信息，请联系我们，我们会将其删除。

政策变更

应用变化时我们可能会更新本政策，新版本会发布在本页并更新生效日期。
